A scenic view at River Camp USA

RiverCamp USA is located on the peaceful and historic New River (an American Heritage River) in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains.

Enjoy many outdoor activities including canoeing, fishing, hiking, biking or just relax in the cool mountain air.  The country store has snacks, beverages, beer/wine, ice, firewood, fishing supplies, bait and limited groceries.
Picnic tables, fire rings, playground, laundry and hot showers are also available to all campers.

Nearby, enjoy the beauty of the Blue Ridge Parkway, Shatley Springs Restaurant, world famous Frescoes, mountain crafts and antiques, fiddlers conventions and golfing. There's so much to choose from you'll have trouble deciding... in fact, you may just decide to do nothing at all.

  • Water, electric, sewer, 30/50 amps and pull-thrus.

  • Separate creekside tent camping area for groups with fire rings and bathhouse.

Rent our canoes, kayaks and inner tubes for a leisurely, gentle float down the Wild and Scenic New River.  Trips range from 2, 4, and 6 hours and longer....and even overnight....perfect for beginners or the seasoned paddler.
